How Wolves Have Developed? Compared to a large dog, a wolf has a narrower chest and long legs. Because they have a narrow chest their left and right footsteps are closer than a dogs.

Coat: Can range from anywhere from brown to black. During winter coats turn white for hunting conditions, some keep the white coat year round.
Weight Adult male: 85-115 pounds, can reach up to 130 pounds.
Adult Female: 50-100 pounds, rarely reach over 110 pounds.
